Article from TheStage.co.uk:

How to Get Away With Murder star joins cast of King Lear at Royal Exchange

Alfred Enoch has joined the cast of King Lear at Manchester’s Royal Exchange.

Known for his roles in US series How to Get Away With Murder and all eight Harry Potter films, Enoch will play Edgar alongside the already announced Don Warrington, who will take on the title role.

Miltos Yerolemou will also star in the Royal Exchange and Talawa Theatre Company co-production, which will feature design by Signe Beckmann.

The full cast includes Fraser Ayres, Rakie Ayola, Rhys Bevan, Norman Bowman and Thomas Coombes, as well as Sam Glen, Wil Johnson, Debbie Korley, Pepter Lunkuse, Miles Mitchell, Mark Springer and Sarah Quist.

Tallow artistic director Michael Buffong, who will helm the show, said it was “always a privilege to work with great actors like Don”.

He continued: “To have him joined by such a wonderful company puts us well on the way towards realising the vision I have for this King Lear. It’s going to be epic, exciting and passionate.”

King Lear will play at the Royal Exchange from April 1 to May 7, before a run at Birmingham Repertory Theatre from May 19 to 28.
